School facilities-use fees.

This act provides that rental fees charged by a school district for the use of school district property shall not exceed the hourly rate of personnel, equipment, utility and supply costs actually incurred by the district for use of the property. School districts shall provide, upon request, itemized statements identifying the district's personnel, equipment, supply and utility costs incurred not more than fifteen (15) days after the request for an itemized statement. School districts shall not require the renting entity to be a nonprofit organization or have any other specific corporate status. This act has an applicability section that indicates that the act shall not be construed to impair any contract or agreement entered into before July 1, 2026.
