PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO THE HAWAII CONSTITUTION TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF A NUCLEAR POWER PLANT OR DISPOSAL OF RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL IN THE STATE WITHOUT PRIOR LEGISLATIVE APPROVAL.

Repeals the provision of the state constitution that prohibits the construction of nuclear fission power plants unless approved by a two-thirds vote in each house of the Legislature.
